this glowinthedark character is Rory, assistant to the master Storm-Cloud-Maker. He is in charge of gathering up all the stray bits of storm cloud after the master maker has finished so they can be used again for the next storm. It's grumbly work because the clouds are always trying to get out and cause mischief. So Rory keeps a grouchy demeaner and a steady stream of mild curse words, because that's how you do it. But secretly he is delighted, it's what he's always dreamed of doing! He can't wait to learn how to polish the lightning bolts.
